Man is given a life sentence in Britain for raping a youngster

Someone's right should not be violated:  Rustenburg,  A man was given a life sentence for raping a 15-year-old girl in Oukasie, close to Brits, six years ago. The Brits Regional Court handed down a sentence to 26-year-old Itumeleng Moyo on Wednesday. The defendant was found guilty of raping a 15-year-old girl and received a sentence. The girl was with her pals at Mountain View, Oukasie on Saturday, December 31 2016, at around 21:30 when Moyo who was 20 at the time of the event attacked them according to evidence presented in court.  He then kidnapped the victim by force and made a knife threat to her. She was taken to a cabin where she was raped. The victim knew the defendant, who was taken into custody on January 22 2018. In the Free State, suspects who were detained for unlawful adoptions make court appearances.

 The four defendants, who cannot be identified to preserve the privacy of the youngsters, range in age from 29 to 59 and are also accused of fraud. Warrant Officer Fikiswa Matoti, the regional spokesperson for the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (Hawks), stated that the initial two suspects were detained on March 17 on Friday and the other two the following day.  The accused are 35 and 51 years old."It is alleged that two females, a Lesotho native and a South African national, visited Botshabelo Home Affairs to submit late registration requests for two children, who were 5 and 15 years old. The suspects of unlawful adoptions are expected to appear in court.  An alert from a home affairs official led to their arrests. "A preliminary investigation was carried out and it was found that there is a department of health official who is allegedly recruiting foreign nationals to illegally adopt children," the report reads. Pitso Mosimane continue to make South African flag shine by wining his first Coach of the month  As a result of his team's success in February—which included three victories and a loss—Mosimane received the Coach of the Month award. Al Ahli lost against Al Riyadh in their final match before the international break, moving them from first to second. In recognition of his team's achievements in February, when they recorded three victories and one loss, Mosimane was given the Coach of the Month title. Al Ahli was tied for the lead but fell to second after losing to Al Riyadh in their final match before the international break. Pitso have made his name even South Africa will be recognised in because of having this inteligence coach.  Pitso's Arabian team is sitting behind number 1 with 52 points which is position 2.

University of KwaZulu Natal partnership through sport with one of the public school which is known as Busana High School, located in Greytown. University of KwaZulu Natal will also give bursaries to high achievers so that they will further their studies in tertiary institutions.  Even sports equipments are also provided by UKZN for Busana High. Sport coaching will help learners  who might love to carry on with sports. The sport coach goes beyond instruction learners will gain more experience. Coaches will be in a good position to assist players in realizing their potential. They will be crucial in encouraging learners to participate in sport and physical activity in Busana High School. 21 March 2023 Human Right Day.  Every year on March 21, Human Rights Day is observed as a national holiday to remind South Africans of the sacrifices made throughout the fight for democracy in their country. On Tuesday, opposition parties canvassed locals in Sharpeville during celebrations of Human Rights Day. Political parties took turns speaking from the stage as flags of all sizes, colors, and shapes were paraded through the graveyard. To honor the 69 persons who were slain by apartheid police in 1960, organizations such as the Pan Africanist Congress, Azapo, Actions, and the African National Congress (ANC) organized wreath-laying rituals at the Phelindaba Cemetery. At least 180 additional people were hurt in the atrocity while protesting pass laws. Stones are thrown at a bus, Malema leads a march to the Union Buildings, and scores of people are arrested throughout SA video: Senegal: The main opposition's prosecution has heightened tensions. The planned shutdown of the country by the EFF, which had been the subject of days' worth of publicity and threats of coercion, began on Monday morning. The demonstration, which was held the day before Human Rights Day and included complaints about rolling blackouts and President Cyril Ramaphosa among other things, effectively gave many people a four-day holiday. By mid-morning, 87 individuals had been detained, there had been occasional allegations of violence and intimidation, and law enforcement personnel were conspicuously present in key locations across the nation. Carl Niehaus and Duduzile Zuma were among the EFF leader Julius Malema's supporters as he led a march to the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

University of Zululand {Richards Bay campus} Hosts GBV awareness campaign

The aim is to fight against those who are violating the right of students and abuse against UNIZULU students.  Gender-based violence is viewed as a violation of human rights, a significant roadblock to attaining gender equality, and a hindrance to a nation's growth. GBV substantially increases during times of crisis, such as pandemics and war. Enough is enough says University of Zululand.   GBV has grown to be a serious issue for society as a whole as well as HEIs all over the world. According to Morrison, Ellsberg, and Bott (2004), Gross et al. (2006), and Kuki (2018), GBV is usually defined as acts of physical, emotional, or psychological abuse, molestation, exploitation, or any non-consensual sexual advances made towards another person. EFF shuts down Midrand road

] Due to the protest, there has been a significant interruption in the movement of traffic in Gauteng, which has led to significant delays starting at the Buccleuch Interchange and delays continuing onto the N1 South starting at the N14 Braamfontein Interchange. The N1 is now home to police officers from the  Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD).Several parties have also protested the release of Walus in the streets, not just the EFF. The Tripartite Alliance (ANC, COSATU, and SACP) also recognized December 1 as National Chris Hani Day and marched to the Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Institution in Tshwane, where Walus was serving his term.

  Malema says the EFF is ready for  anything.   Leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Julius Malema, spoke to South Africa on Tuesday about the upcoming national shutdown on March 20.  He stated that workers who offer critical services "shall have access to their workplace" and that important services will be preserved. Malema declared, "Our structures will cooperate, we'll ensure that clinics and hospitals are operational, and we won't interfere with the Nehawu strike. PSR association issued their concerns about strike, association manager said 'this could be a negative to us since we won't operate as usual.  Every EFF chapter, public official, and progressive force would "throw his or her body on the streets," he said, to defend the protesters.
